Join us in welcoming our first-ever Mutt Mutt, Hermes!
Hermes was rescued starving and flea-bitten from the streets of Los Cabos, Mexico. Thank you to warrior-angel Isabelle and foster mom Mary of Baja Safe Humane Society for saving Hermes's life.
Hermes was flown north by the kind and lovely Darcie, and is being taken in by Lori at Chihuahua Rescue and Transport Midwest. Big giant thanks to each of you for being an essential part of Hermes's happy story.
This is what we do at Mutt Mutt Engine: We facilitate the rescue of dogs in need like Hermes; we support the small, in-the-trenches efforts of rescues like Baja Safe Humane Society; we turn the kindness of volunteers like Darcie into action; and we help rescues like Chihuahua Rescue and Transport Midwest finance dogs like Hermes's flight so they can welcome him and find his forever home.

Hermes was the consummate overnight guest, sleeping sweetly in my arms. Today, he heads to his foster home with Chihuahua Rescue & Transport Midwest.
Chihuahua Rescue & Transport Midwest serves Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and Illinois. They're looking for foster homes, and take it from us, fostering a chihuahua or chihuahua is especially delightful!
